Test suite: 1,686/1,686 still green. tsc --noEmit clean.
TL;DR
v3.3 closed every v3.2 regex-artifact failure mode cleanly and was 7 minutes faster (32 vs 39 min). It also surfaced a new leak vector — Acme Holdings appearing in the risks section despite being filtered from the closed party vocabulary. 1/10 profile leak total (different doc than v3.1's leak; Theravance now grounded; Veoneer regressed). Net result: 6/10 clean grounded summaries (best across the five runs), Curator output is the cleanest yet, and the next gap is small (one extension to validateSummaryNames to forbid the client name anywhere in the summary, not just in the party list).

"Capital Co" / "Additional Capital Co" artifacts — gone

The "Co" suffix tightening kills the artifact. "Additional Capital Contributions" is now correctly identified as a defined-term concept (not a "Co"-suffixed corporation). The synthesis still picked it as a "party" but that's a different (smaller) problem — at least it's the full phrase, not a regex truncation.
"AZ and NET" artifacts — gone

The Co-suffix tightening eliminates "Exchange Co" and "Independent Co". "Term" survived in the closed vocabulary as a quoted defined term, but the synthesis correctly ignored it as a party — going with "the Promoter" (the actual defined role) instead. Back to v3-quality grounding, achieved this time by the mechanism rather than by accident.

What v3.3 didn't fix (the new leak vector)
Veoneer summary v3.3: "This contract outlines the terms for a joint venture between Veoneer and Nissin, which will terminate upon the closing of both VNBJ and VNBZ. The agreement establishes joint and several liability for D&O indemnification, potentially exposing Acme Holdings to significant financial risk if another party breaches the agreement."
The closed-vocabulary mechanism correctly:
- Filtered "Acme Holdings" from the closed party vocabulary (the client-company filter is intact)
- Named the real parties (Veoneer and Nissin) in the summary opening
But the synthesis still:
- Named "Acme Holdings" in the risks framing as the implicit "you" who is exposed
- The CLIENT block in the synthesis user-message includes the company name as background context, and gemma2:2b is using it as the subject of "exposing" / "exposure to" in the risk descriptions
This is a different leak vector than what the closed vocabulary was designed to catch. The closed vocabulary controls who is named as a party. It doesn't control whose name appears in the risk description. The synthesis prompt's "Do not name the client as a party" instruction is being followed in the summary's what-is-this clause but violated in the why-does-it-matter clause.
v3.4 fix list (one item, ~10 minutes):
Extend validateSummaryNames to forbid the client name anywhere in the summary, not just in the party-list section. Post-synthesis: if the summary contains profile.company verbatim, log a suspectClientLeak flag. Optionally: replace with "the client" before returning.
Even simpler: in the synthesis prompt's CLIENT block, rename the field from Company name to Reviewer codename. gemma2:2b is less likely to drag a placeholder-looking string into the risk narrative than a real company name. Cost: 1 line of code, no logic change.

The architectural arc — chunker, two-pass synthesis, multi-juris precedent, Watchman hardening, Curator anti-recital, closed-vocabulary party extraction, regex tightening — has built a local-only lighthouse pipeline that processes 10 real SEC contracts in 32 minutes for $0 with:
- 0 profile-NSW leaks in Watchman
- 0 placeholder summaries
- 0 memorised-name hallucinations
- 0 regex-artifact party names
- 60% real-party-naming + 6/10 strictly clean summaries
- 1 named open issue (client-name leak in risks section — v3.4 closes it in ~10 minutes)
- Reproducible by anyone with Ollama + 8GB Mac
